I am delighted to write to you with Priory Bay’s first official newsletter! This is our little way of saying hello and passing on details of all our new upcoming events, offers and updates.
We’ve got to work setting up a whole variety of events at the hotel that we’re very keen to shout about and I hope you find that one or two (or all!) of these unique packages will take your fancy!
Upcoming Events at Priory Bay
Three Phantoms
Saturday 24 October 2009
Not one, but three former Phantoms from Andrew Lloyd Webber’s smash hit musical ‘Phantom of the Opera’ in the West End will be performing a truly exciting premier concert at the Medina Theatre in Newport.
Join us on Friday 23 & Saturday 24 October for a short theatre break and you will also be invited to meet the cast after the show at a private ‘Meet and Greet’ Reception.
Priory Bay have secured tickets for Saturday's performance and will arrange transport to and from the theatre for you.
The Three Phantoms will then return to Priory Bay for a glass of Champagne and you will be able to join them for a post-theatre treat.
Stay for two nights and book our theatre package of tickets, transport, glass of champagne and post-theatre treat for just £50 per person (usually £75). Simply request this package when making your reservation.

Cookery Master Classes
13 to 15 November 2009 & 19 to 21 February 2010
Our Cookery Master Classes are back for another season! They will teach you some of the techniques which enable simple combinations of flavours to inspire the palate.
Michelin-starred Executive Chef Alexis Gauthier sees the Master Classes as an opportunity to pass on some of his know-how and passions, and focuses on the use of quality ingredients sourced from their immediate environs and from across the British Isles.
Whether you are coming for fun or would like to set up an individual team-building experience, with carefully selected wines and plenty of time to chat to Alexis, these events promise to be a truly memorable culinary experience.

Christmas Fayre

Once again we will be holding our annual Christmas Fayre on Tuesday 17 November from 5pm - 8pm.

Christmas Parties

On the back of success from our 2008 parties, we’ve packaged up a merry venue with gorgeous food, fun gambling and may be or may be not some great dancing (that depends on your dancing shoes) in a festively wrapped bundle!
Whether you are a small group of friends or large party of colleagues, we’d be delighted if you could join us to celebrate this season!
This year’s events are on Friday 4 & Saturday 5 December with special accommodation rates for those travelling a little further (or for those not wanting to travel home!).
